Die beiden wählten den Ort nach einem Urlaub auf den Malediven aus, um den Paparazzi zu entgehen. Es sollen lediglich 50 Gäste vor Ort sein, darunter Familienmitglieder und Freunde. Beide waren inkognito aus Spanien in einem privat gecharteten Flug angereist. Der 25-Jährige ist mit der spanischen Sängerin seit Juni 2005 zusammen.

Los paparazis han tomado Asturias al calor del rumor sobre la boda de Fernando Alonso y su novia, Raquel del Rosario. La basílica de Covadonga, el domicilio del piloto en Villamiana, el aeropuerto, la localidad de Mallecina... Cualquier lugar que haya sido citado en alguna de las teorías sobre la hipotética boda se encuentra hoy bajo custodia de la prensa del corazón. Sin embargo, según una información que publica hoy el diario La Voz de Asturias, la pareja, acompañados de un grupo de 50 familiares y los amigos más íntimos, se encuentran en las Islas Maldivas, donde se casarán este fin de semana lejos de los objetivos.
Les acompaña un sacerdote asturiano que oficiará la boda por el rito católico en el archipiélago del Índico. La agencia Korpa parece la más empeñada en intentar atrapar una instantánea del piloto y su prometida y ha situado fotógrafos y cámaras por todo el Principado. Pero la pareja se dará el "sí, quiero" a 14.000 kilómetros de Asturias.
Celosos de su intimidad, Alonso y Del Rosario han elegido un entorno paradisiaco, del que se prendaron tras dos visitas, pero lejos del lugar en el que les hubiera gustado celebrar la boda. Los primeros intentos de la pareja por fijar una fecha o un lugar dispararon los rumores apenas terminaban la conversación. Así que decidieron unirse en matrimonio allí donde no les alcanzaran.
El miércoles partió del aeropuerto de Asturias un avión con 50 invitados y un sacerdote para acompañar en tan señalado día a dos chicos de 25 años que comenzaron a salir en junio del 2005, cuando el piloto consiguió el teléfono de la cantante y la llamó. Aparecieron por primera vez en público en noviembre de ese año y se dejaron ver habitualmente desde diciembre.
En febrero de este año se comprometieron y fijaron para noviembre la fecha de la boda, en las vacaciones del piloto. Raquel acompaña a Fernando por los circuitos desde la primera carrera en el circuito de Bahrein, y apenas ha dejado de faltar a dos o tres grandes premios en toda la temporada, compatibilizando sus conciertos y actos promocionales con su grupo El Sueño de Morfeo.
La canaria, afincada en Asturias desde hace siete años, evita en lo que puede los objetivos en los circuitos y no concede entrevistas, aunque lejos de los micrófonos se comporta como una chica resuelta, alegre y habladora, como la mayoría de su edad, aunque sufre, y mucho, durante las carreras. Raquel celebró una despedida de soltera organizada por sus amigas más íntimas la semana pasada.
Aunque Alonso ha adquirido una casa en Suiza, el piloto se está construyendo una vivienda en Oviedo que será el verdadero domicilio del matrimonio cuando las carreras y los viajes les den un respiro. "Mi gran sueño es formar una familia", ha repetido Alonso en más de una entrevista. Ya ha dado el primer paso.

Fernando Alonso ist momentan einer der spanischen Sportsuperstars - und steht als solcher natürlich auch im Winter im Rampenlicht. Kein Wunder also, dass in seiner Heimat der Wirbel groß war, als in den vergangenen Tagen plötzlich Gerüchte auftauchten, wonach er seine Freundin Raquel del Rosario geheiratet haben soll.

Aufgekommen waren derartige Berichte erstmals, als bekannt wurde, dass der 25-jährige Formel-1-Weltmeister mit Raquel, Familie und Freunden auf die Malediven flog - insgesamt 50 Bekannte sollen sich mit dem Paar auf dem Weg gemacht haben. Nun nahm erstmals das Management des Spaniers Stellung, welches von einer Hochzeit nichts wissen will. Vielmehr habe die Gruppe in dem Tourismusparadies lediglich Urlaub gemacht.

"Fernando und Raquel haben auf den Malediven nicht geheiratet, wie dies mehrere spanische Zeitungen in den vergangenen Tagen berichtet hatten", ließ Alonso-Berater Luis Garcia Abad ausrichten. "Es ist traurig, dass Fernando in seiner Heimat nun so behandelt wird, nachdem er die spanischen Nationalfarben in diesem Jahr auf allen fünf Kontinenten der Welt würdig vertreten hat. Das hat er sich nicht verdient, genauso wenig wie Raquel."

Alonso ist seit mehr als einem Jahr mit der dunkelhaarigen Popsängerin zusammen. Das Paar versucht zwar, sich so gut wie möglich von der Öffentlichkeit abzuschirmen, dies gelingt jedoch nur zum Teil, weil auch del Rosario einen gewissen Bekanntheitsgrad genießt - die Dunkelhaarige ist Frontfrau der spanischen Rockband 'El Sueño de Morfeo'. Ihren derzeitigen Verlobten lernte sie bei einem gemeinsamen Radiointerview kennen.

Poah gut das es nicht stimmt, ich mein mir kanns egal sein was Fernando und Raquel machen aber ich war wircklich überhauot nicht begeistert uüber die Nachricht das die beiden geheiratet haben die sollen sich noch ein wenig zeit lassen und sich auch in der Öffendlichkeit so zeigen wie sie sind weil wenn man verliebt ist brauch man sich nicht zu verstecken!
