Robbie Williams narked by the partying antics of another? Who'd have thought it?

But the pop star had to get hotel staff to pipe down a fellow singer after their rowdy ways kept Robbie awake.

Hanging out in Berlin before the official launch of his new album Intensive Care, Robbie was settling in for a reasonably early night - 2am - at the five-star Ritz Carlton hotel.

But a couple of hours later, 50 Cent returned to the hotel bar, after a night out on the town.

Instead of retiring to bed, Fiddy and his hangers-on continued to party, and made so much racket that Robbie had to get his people to make a complaint to hotel staff.

(It now seems that poor Rob was probably in some discomfort after breaking his arm whilst playing footy during the day - in fact the brave soldier went on to perform in front of 7,000 fans the following day.)

However, a source revealed the hotel incident to the Daily Mirror: "Robbie spent the evening with members of his band in the bar, just drinking tea and mineral water. They were very quiet, just chatting away.

"He had rehearsals the next day and always takes them very seriously. He was in real need of a good night's kip.

"Fid's crew rolled back at 4am, kept the bar open and wanted to play rap music in the lobby."

Earlier in the day, 50 Cent had had a small taster of Robbie's celebrity status when his blacked out people-carrier was mobbed outside the hotel, with people chanting 'Robbie, Robbie'.

The fans soon shut up when they realised their hero wasn't inside.

Despite this introduction to Robbie, the paper reports that after being asked to keep it down, some of 50 Cent's crew claimed they'd never heard of this Robbie bloke...
