I was just told c/o a very good conncetion link to EMI France that it is 99 % for sure that Rob will be in Cannes on May 22nd for the Cannes Film Festival and the De-lovely premiere and of course aftershow concert.
I hope that some TV stations here in Europe will show him at the premiere and the concert!!!!!

That idea didn't even pop into my head
Karin, didn´t mean you specifically, but people in general. Should have expressed myself a bit more clearly, sorry (@)

That's just what I wanted to say! :D
I guess"Performance"is the right word for Rob...... ;)
I just want a day off work and a holiday
4 more weeks Joanne, you'll be fine!
If I was very rich I would probably fly into Cannes for the day, as it wouldn't really matter then if I'd get to see him or not. Just the whole circus alone would be fun to watch.
And NO, I'm NOT a flight attendant.
2 confirms Cannes

PARIS -- After heavy criticism of last year's event, the Cannes Film Festival is pulling out all the stops to revamp its closing weekend.
Organizers said Monday that jury topper Quentin Tarantino will announce the Palme d'Or and other prize winners a day earlier than in previous years, at a ceremony on Saturday, May 22.
The evening will continue with a world premiere screening of an as-yet-unannounced film, followed by a fireworks display and an awards night party.
Festgoers who would rather watch movies than party can go to screenings of all the prize-winning films.
Sunday night will be devoted to the Palme d'Or, with a gala screening of the winning film. To lend more pomp to the occasion, the fest jury will greet the film crew at the top of the red carpet.
All of the officially selected films will also be rescreened during the day.
"We realized that by holding the prize-giving on a Sunday night, when people were packing their bags and getting ready to leave, we were not making the most of the occasion," a Cannes spokesman said. "The prize-giving on Saturday night will be a real celebration, a big party in honor of the prize winners."
Organizers also hope the change of date will boost media coverage. When the winners were announced on a Sunday, the fest missed out on coverage in the Sunday papers.
"That wasn't our reason for bringing forward the prize-giving, but if a Saturday night is more convenient for the media, so much the better," said the spokesman.
Fest runs May 12-23.

Robbie: Cannes I be in a movie?
ROBBIE WILLIAMS is determined to show he’s a class act – and is jetting to the Cannes film festival to prove it.
The pop superstar plans to fly to the South of France next week to meet as many Hollywood moguls as possible.
Pals say the buzz of his cameo appearance as a singer in new film musical De-Lovely has given him cravings to be a movie star.
Officially, he is in Cannes to promote the film.
But aides say he will be talking to the biggest names in the business in a bid to secure meaty acting roles.
He will belt out a song on the beach with ALANIS MORISSETTE and then mingle with such influential figures as Troy director WOLFGANG PETERSEN.
A pal of Robbie’s said last night: “He would love a stab at acting in a film. He’s a very intelligent and witty person and he would be brilliant in front of the camera. He’s confident this could lead to other things.”
Robbie’s in England at the moment writing new songs.
But the source added: “He was asked to fly out and do some work for the movie he appears briefly in.
“He loves singing and has achieved more than he could ever dream of as a performer but he also wants to try his hand at different things.
“Cannes is a good chance to shake the right hands.”
Robbie shot the scene for De-Lovely a year ago in an English country mansion.
The movie is based on a Hollywood production about the life and loves of controversial songwriter Cole Porter.
He plays a Thirties crooner who sings one of Porter’s classics, It’s De-Lovely.
He earned the role by covering another Porter hit, Well Did You Evah?, on his 2001 album Swing When You’re Winning.
The movie’s director, IRWIN WINKLER, says: “With some of the most spectacular music ever written, we’ll be able to introduce Cole Porter to a whole new generation.”
Let’s just hope Robbie’s bid for glory on the silver screen goes swingingly.
What a pun! %)
