According to Finnish tabloid Ilta-Sanomat Ferrari has taken his option on Kimi Raikkonen to race for the Italian team next season. The Finn would have signed a five-year-contract.

The story is based on the Finnish tabloid's reliable sources close to Kimi Raikkonen. According to the source Raikkonen's contract is worth around 160 million euro and thus see the 26-year-old earn 32 million euro a year.

Michael Schumacher said in Hockenheim he will announce his future plans in Monza and it is very likely that Raikkonen's plans will be announced shortly after Schumacher's decision was announced.

(F1Total.com) - Die finnische Zeitung 'Ilta-Sanomat' berichtet heute unter Berufung auf eine anonyme Quelle, dass Kimi Räikkönen einen Fünfjahresvertrag bei Ferrari unterschrieben haben soll - mit einer kolportierten Jahresgage von mehr als 30 Millionen Euro, was in etwa dem bisherigen Gehaltsniveau von Michael Schumacher entsprechen würde.

Das Ferrari-Team wird die Fahrerpaarung für 2007 freilich erst am 10. September nach dem Grand Prix von Italien in Monza offiziell bekannt geben.

You now,everytime Ferarri is doing well Kimi goes there.Everytime Renault is doing well Kimi goes there.
Is like ping-pong.If Renault will have a good race in Hungary I bet the rumors will change again.I think Kimi is an onest man and when he will decide something he will tell us.

Solange nichts offiziel bestätigt ist, halte ich das alles für Gerüchte.

Würde es aber sehr schade finden wenn er zu Ferrari geht #ganztraurig

Glaube mittlerweile auch das er geht, denn wenn ich irgendwo bleiben will dann würde ich doch nicht so lange brauchen um es mir zu überlegen.

Denke das er sich nur noch überlegt wohin er geht. :(
