David Coulthard has made a mobile racing game in Porvoo, Finland with Tracebit Ltd, a local mobile games develope
“I’ve enjoyed putting together the game, and hope that race fans enjoy playing it. It was an interesting process being involved in the design and I hope my input has helped give it as realistic a feel as possible,” says David Coulthard.
The David Coulthard GP mobile game, started on Coulthard’s initiative, is available through Tracebit’s global network of distributors.
During his ten years in Formula 1 David Coulthard has scored 499 points, 13 wins and 60 podium finishes. He is the 4th highest points scorer in Grand Prix history.
David Coulthard GP is a feature packed, fast-paced racing game with a fantastic 3D look and feel, says Tracebit’s news release.
Players can change view from in car to aerial view during the race, there are three skill levels and six GP circuits to choose from with varying weather conditions. The game is available in multiple languages.
“It has been really great to work with a Formula 1 professional like David Coulthard who has been actively involved during the whole game development and graphics conceptualising and finalising – his interest, ideas and feedback have truly helped us in making an excellent mobile racing game, and I am really happy for that,” says Simon Ådahl, CMO of Tracebit Ltd.
“I admit there are some good racing games out there - but I know that David Coulthard GP is going to be on a totally different level than those and be played by the true racing fanatics.”
